Another Harry Potter book finished yesterday and I started the third instantly: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I was up well into the early hours of the morning with this one, tiny little lamp on trying not to wake anyone.
Anyone would think I’ve never read Harry Potter books before, actually, I was asked the other day if I hadn’t and I was forced to look at my feet and mumble that it was actually my fourth time reading them.
They’re just that fucking good!!
Oil on canvas, I love this piece.
It’s been a hectic week, this weekend, you will find me here… escaping to my fantasy world inside Harry Potter books.
Sooooo stupidity obsessed with Harry Potter AGAIN.. this is my fourth visit back into the wizarding world and I’m just as taken by it as I was when I first stepped through the doors of Hogwarts.
Book one: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone finished in under 48 hours. Snuck in the film before moving on to book two: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
I’m a proud HP nerd.
In my house we have 3 day birthdays: Happy Birthday Eve, Happy Birthday, and Happy Birthday After. Today is my Happy Birthday After… I definitely felt the love this year and received some pretty neat gifts…
Who doesn’t loved shoes, books and jewellery!? But if I had to pick my favourite out of them all, it would be the collection of Harry Potter books (kind of a Harry Potter nerd, and yes I’ve already started reading the books… AGAIN)…
and the copy of ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & other stories.’
This book is not only gorgeous with its pink and black cover and gold edged pages, it’s a heavy reminder of my childhood. Alice in Wonderland was my all time favourite, and still is and that’s very closely followed by The Wizard of Oz.
Today I’m off to spend the day with my parents and siblings and do this whole birthday thing over again. Happy times.
Happy Saturday everyone!
